Hello Raymond,Thank you for posting in our community. We're here to help. You may try to resolve the pen pressure issue in the drawing app that you're using by installing the WintabX641.0.0.20 on your device.

Please go to, click/tapDownload, select Wintabx641.0.0.20.zip and clickNext. After downloading, open the zip file and run the WinTabSetup64 application.Note: The download page that you will be redirected to will get you to the Surface Pro 4 Drivers and Firmware download page. Please don't be confused. I would only like you to download and install the mentioned application. Additionally, your Surface Go should also be switched out of Windows 10 S mode before you can install a desktop application. You may go tofor the steps on how you can switch out of S mode.If you have additional questions, or if the issue persists after installing the aforementioned application, please let me know by replying to this thread.

This way, I'll get notified and respond back to you as soon as I can. Hey there friend! So I'm not 100% sure this fix will still work as I don't have a Surface anymore, but when I had my SP4 and wanted to use Sai, I found that downloading Photoshop (NOT the photoshop app or Photoshop Mobile, it has to be real photoshop) wouldusually download whatever was needed to get pressure sensitivity with Sai.

Once you download photoshop you'll need to restart your surface and pen pressure should now work. Chords and scales. After confirming that you have pressure sensitivity, feel free to uninstall photoshop;at least that's what I did. That being said, the other option is to download Sai ver. 2, which is tablet pen tab/wintab enabled and available on the official Paint Tool Sai website. I personally purchased ver. 1 so I was able to get the full version of ver. I know most peoplejust use the 'free' version of Sai, but if you really like drawing on your surface and want to use that particular program, I would shell out the $40 it costs to get the full program.

To make a RPC is really easy. You should just search in youtube this: How to make a rpc with photoshop /paint tool sai or paint.net I hope i helped you. ^^ Why doesn't my pen pressure wotk in paint.

You can test out Paint Tool Sai ver. 2 for free before you make anycommitments.Option 3 is to just get Clip Studio Paint. I personally still prefer Sai's main brushes, but it doesn't take much to get some really excellent brushes for Clip Studio and the application is much more expansive with plenty of tools for all artists.Hopefully my trick still works and you're able to get the pressure sensitivity you're looking for!

I've downloaded the update but my icon for SAI still says Sai ver. 1I just got myself the Surface Pro 6, I also already own CSP and the pen pressure works perfectly fine on it but not for SAI.

Paint Tool Sai Pen Sensitivity

Welcome to HP Support Forums.I came across your post and would like to assist.I understand that the HP pen that came with your HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx has no pressure sensitivity.During my research, I found that if the option you're looking for pressure curve adjustment, then is not available on HP Pen.Secondly, you may review this HP document as it provides a number of steps that help in resolving pen related issues:I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know how it goes.Cheers!
