To that end it will calculate the best route to take based on the lowest amount of carbon you can produce getting there. You tell the device what type of car you have and what fuel it uses; then you specify how many passengers are travelling with you. We all want to get to our destinations as quickly as possible, so if the Econav chooses a longer route because the roads are more economical we are not going to be very happy, especially as we are meant to be driving economically meaning the journey was likely going to take longer anyway.
