Aftersome time, the ids are released. However, it appears thatthe release process is manual and they 'forget' to releasesome numbers. This can not be done from the BSNL Dataone help deskand has to be done from the exchange itself. This is what happened in my case.Unquote.Problem solved.

I have configured Airtel Beetel 220BX modem for BSNL and it is working fine. I followed the steps mentioned here. I am using the splitter provided by the BSNL. But when i change the splitter to Beetel(provided by airtel), there is no signal and the LED's are also not glowing.I have only set up the PPPoE connection. Did I miss anything or I need to change the splitter. Please help. Thanks,AnandSplitter may be malfunctioning.
If you already have a splitter that is working, there is no reason to change it or buy a new one.
